Ralph Eugene Snyder

Ralph Eugene Snyder, 89, of Mebane, North Carolina died on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Compass Healthcare & Rehab. Ralph was born on November 29, 1933, in Salem, Virginia, to the late Talmadge Dewitt and Stella Mae (Hughes) Snyder.

A veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of Virginia Tech, as well as Elon College with an MBA. Retired from General Electric in Mebane, Ralph was a member of the Mebane United Methodist Church, where he also served as a Sunday school teacher.

He is survived by his daughter, Ginger Snyder Dixon and husband Roy of Flagler Beach, Florida, Son, Mark Alan Snyder and wife Ashley of Burlington, NC, grandchildren Lauren Dixon, Skyler Dixon (Shelby), Alex Dixon (Ashton), Stella Snyder, Logan Thornton (Rachel) and brother John S. Snyder of Powhatan, VA.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Joyce Lee (Barton) Snyder and his brother Curtis Dewitt Snyder.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Mebane United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 19th at 2:00 PM by Pastor Jeff Nash.
