MEBANE - Mr. Randall Paul Swanson, 76, of 218 Beauregard Lane, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.Mr. Swanson, an avid golfer, was the son of the late Clifford Swanson and the late Margaret Novreske Swanson,Mr. Swanson is survived by his wife, Carolyn Swanson, of the home; daughter, Tamara Sharpe (Ed) of Efland; daughter-in-law, Christine Liptak of Mebane; grandchildren, Alexandra Sharpe Zornick (Capt. John Zornick) of Fayetteville, Taylor Sharpe of Efland, Eric Swanson of Mebane, Gunnar Swanson of Mebane; brothers, Kenny Swanson (Debbie) of California, Neal Swanson of Indiana; sisters, Sharon Buerger of Arizona, Linda Erickson (John) of Indiana; sister-in-law, Carol Swanson; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Paul Swanson; and brother, Cliff Swanson.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane, N.C., with the Rev. Ed Henegar and the Rev.
