Raymond Maurice Allen

Raymond Maurice Allen, 65, of Mebane passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence. Raymond was born in Osceola, Fla. to Joseph William and Rebecca Shropshire Allen both deceased. He was a  retired machinist and was a member of Haw River UMC. Raymond loved all sports especially UNC Sports and he was a Atlanta Braves fan. He loved all animals, especially his Pets. Raymond is survived by his: wife, Melinda “Mindy” Ray Allen of the home. Son, Raymond “Matt” Allen (Jaely Ottinger), Mebane. Daughter, Gena Rebecca Allen (Cedric Lea), Mebane. Grandsons, Cameron Allen Wheeler and Alexander Lea. Brother, Timothy Wayne Allen, Haw River. Sisters and brothers in law, Carla and Benton Neese, Jonna and Craig Robertson and J. Brad Ray. He also has several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Joe Allen, Jr., Sissy Allen Hunter, and Kenneth Lee Allen.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

McClure Funeral Home in Graham is serving the Allen family.
