Restie Jones Rogers

Mrs. Restie Jones Rogers, 79, of 4546 South NC HWY 87, Graham, NC, passed away at 8:38 PM on Saturday September 13, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Jones and Velena Zachary Jones Sharpe. Restie was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother (Nana). Her love and devotion to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ and to Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church and her church family was paramount. After her retirement from SCI she was able to spend her time loving and doting on her only grandchild, Jessica Lynne. Jessica was the light in Restie’s life and brought much joy and happiness to “Nana”. Momma and Nana will be sorely missed. Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Riggan, of Graham; granddaughter, Jessica Coble, of Graham; sister and brother in law, Helen and Harry LeGette, of Burlington, and a cousin Sue Z. Faucette. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, H. Frank Rogers. The Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Wooten and the Rev. James Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family.
