Rhonda Johnson Nobles

August 3, 1957 — February 1, 2021

Graham

Rhonda Johnson Nobles, 63, of Graham passed away unexpectedly and as peacefully as possible on Monday, February 01, 2021. We think it was because she was tired of feeding all the stray cats at her lake house. She was a native of Alamance County and was employed at GE in Mebane. She is the daughter of the late Albert Harden & Katherine Elizabeth Riley Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dennis Nobles and 2 granddaughters, Kelby Faith Stout and Addison Paige Terry

She is survived by her children, Shane Johnson and wife Caroline of Graham, Donna Johnson-Terry and husband Mike of Julian, Kristin Johnson of Swepsonville; grandchildren, Samantha Wilson, Braxton Wilson (Heather), Roman-Hayes Terry, Tristin, Chelsey, Dylan, & Caleb Johnson, Colby Murray, Keegan Stout; great grandchildren, Brantlyee Lunsford, Riley Thaxton, Everly Wilson; a very special sister who’s 10 years older Barbara Farrell of Swepsonville. Her beloved dog Emmy and about 32 stray cats that thought her cat food was the best tasting in the neighborhood.

Rhonda knew everyone and if she didn’t know them, she knew their brother’s cousin’s aunt. She was loved by so many people but more importantly she loved so many people, her family, friends and even the staff at cookout. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Rhonda, you never forgot her. She either aggravated you to death about wanting something to drink, asked too many questions or she said something randomly silly that you never forgot. She always had anything you might would need in her purse or car, like a spoon or a bag of sugar. It always made us laugh that when needed something and she would say, “I have some in my car.”

A memorial service to celebrate her Amazing Life will be 4:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Tadd Grandstaff. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham 6:00 – 8:00 Friday evening.
