Richard Leslie Hobson

Mr. Richard “Les” Leslie Hobson, 66, of Graham passed away Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at the Hospice Home of Alamance. Richard was born in Hope Mills, NC, to the care of His father, John Thomas Hobson and his grandmother, Myrtle Hobson, both deceased. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving his country with pride for 4 years. He spent his working years as a mechanic with over 40 years of experience in the field. Richard can be remembered as a lively man bringing the fun with him wherever he went. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on anything mechanical, and driving his Polaris Slingshot all around. Richard had a fondness in his heart for all of these things but none surpassed the love he carried for his family, especially his beloved bride Becky.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Becky Hobson, a son, Kenneth Hobson (Melissa), a daughter, Nikki Hobson, two grandchildren, Cameron Bennett and Laci Bennett, and two uncles, Roger Hobson and Oscar Hobson.

A memorial service with military honors for Richard will be held on Thursday, May 6th, starting at 6:00pm at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. A visitation will be held for the family to receive friends following the service.
