Mr. Rickey Dale Rudd of Beaverton, OR passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Snow Camp. A native of Caswell County, Mr. Rudd was the son of Thomas Jefferson Rudd and Esther Apple Rudd, both deceased. Mr. Rudd was a retired drywall installer. Rickey will be remembered as a man of unique character, never afraid to say what was on his mind and meaning what he said. He always made sure to put in a hard day’s work to see that his loved ones were taken care of. Rickey enjoyed collecting model cars and tractors, gardening, was often coerced into joining his family for adventures, spending time with his beloved granddaughter Isabella, and most recently his new beagle puppy. Mr. Rudd had a place in his heart for many things, but none surpassed the love he had in his heart for his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rudd was preceded in death by his sister, Sonya Rudd, and his brothers, Harold D. Rudd, Billy L. Rudd, and Arnold J. Rudd.

Rickey is survived by his children, Vickey Rudd Foster and Brian Curtis Rudd, his granddaughter, Isabella Foster, his sisters, Hazel Jefferson, Patricia Norris, Anita Walker, Melody Jenkins, Belinda Jones, and Estherene Wilson, and a brother, Arthur Rudd, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, beginning at 2:00PM, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. A visitation will be held for the family to receive friends an hour prior the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell in honor of Mr. Rudd.
