Ricky Joe Perry

Mr. Ricky Joe Perry, 64 of Graham, NC passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. A native of Alamance Co. NC, he was the son of the late Joe Henry Perry and Eleanor Lineberry Perry.

Ricky had a deep devotion for his family and was known for putting the needs of others above his own. Ricky had the heart of a servant and was a true friend.  He blessed others wherever he went leaving a lasting impression on so many lives that will be unforgettable.

He was an avid golfer and fisherman as he always enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to work for hours in his shop, fixing one thing or another and was also considered a skilled carpenter.

Survivors include his loving wife, Amy Cartner Perry; his son, Brandon Perry; daughters, Jenna Branson, Cindy Triplett and husband Richard and Anette Watkins and husband, Pace; his grandchildren which were  the light of his eye, Skyler Perry, Cash Finlen, Samantha Finlen, Josh Triplett and Joseph Triplett; his sister, Delorise Goodson and husband Ellsworth; a brother, Todd Perry and companion, Amanda McKinney, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. M.O. and Dorothy Lineberry and Lottie Southard. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday March 9, 2023, at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Graham with the Pastor Kevin Barbour officiating. Burial will follow at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Graham. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Service in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Full Gospel Tabernacle Church at 109 Webster Rd. Graham, NC 27253.
