Robbie Serene (Savage) Knowles

Mrs. Robbie Savage Knowles, 90, of Burlington passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at her residence. Robbie was born in Duplin County, NC to Jesse Cleveland and Fannie Rebecca Register Savage both deceased. She was the wife of Rev. N. Curtis Knowles also deceased. She was a retired secretary and she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Robbie is survived by her Son,  Mark Alan Knowles (Michelle) of Haw River and her daughter, Catherine Joy Binkley (Todd) of Graham. Grandson, Jeffrey Binkley (Lexie) and step grandchildren, Billy McPherson  and Jessica Lawton. One great granddaughter, Opal Grace Binkley, Three  step great grandchildren.

In addition to her Parents and husband Robbie was also preceded in death by sisters, Thelma S. Dempsey, Fannie Lois Savage, Irene Savage, Josie Savage. Brothers, R.C. Savage, Cleo Savage, and J.C. Savage, Carl Savage.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Williams and Rev. Ken Simpson. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service.
