Robert David Faucette

January 19, 1928 — August 24, 2017

Robert David Faucette, 89, of Haw River died Thursday, August 24 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Alamance County, retired supply clerk from Cone Mills, A US Army Veteran of WW II, and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane where he was an ordained minister and has filled in as pastor and served as music director, soloist, Sunday school teacher and a Deacon of the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse William and Blanche Boswell Faucette; daughter Diana Bare Seawell; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Davadia Cook Faucette of the home; daughters, Jane Wagoner and husband Bobby of Haw River and Theresa Mace and husband Phil of Efland; 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane conducted by Rev. Chip Sellew. Burial with military rites will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
