Robert Fredrick Grapes

Robert Fredrick Grapes, 90 of Hillsborough passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at his residence. Robert was born in North Tonawanda, NY to Norman Robert and Marion Cutler Grapes both deceased. He was the husband of Lenora Grapes also deceased. He was retired from General Motors and he served his country in the US Navy. Robert was a hardworking man who loved his children, grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Robert was a God fearing faithful man.

Robert is survived by his children, Cynthia Lytle, Lorie Auten, and Timothy Grapes. Brother, James Grapes. Grandchildren, Jessica Blanton, Jared Lytle, Kelly Lytle, Kent Lytle, Bailey Auten. Great Granddaughters, Kierston Harkness, McKenna Blanton, Remie Blanton and Ava Lytle.

In addition to his wife and parents Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Grapes.

The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 24, 2021. There will be a graveside service held following the visitation in Oakwood Cemetery.
