Robert Burnell Roberts

Mr. Robert B Roberts, known to family and friends as Mr. Bob went to be home with the lord on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the age of 90. Mr. Bob was born in Brunswick County, Virginia on December 22, 1931. He moved to Burlington with his late wife Ellen Grizzle Roberts in 1960. Mr. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen, his mother, Sarah Woodall, his father, Robert Roberts, and his brother, Jackie Roberts.

Mr. Bob enjoyed fishing and dancing in his spare time. He also loved spending time with his late life partner, Inez King.

Mr. Bob is survived by his three sons, Bob Roberts Jr., Stephen Roberts, and wife Christine, Robbin Roberts, and wife Tina, grandchildren, Caroline, Hannah, Daniel, Stephen Jr., Andrew, Melissa, Tyler, Emma, Nick, Coty, Ashleigh, Blake, and Ryan, great-grandchildren, Bailey, Jordan, Kylan, Aubrey, Eli, Dallas, Zayda, and Noah.

The family would also like to express their gratitude to the caregivers, who have given their time and for their wonderful support and love shown during the past couple of years!

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, beginning at 1:00PM at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00PM. Burial will be held following the service at Graham Memorial Park.
