Robert Alton Wilkinson III

Robert Alton "Al" Wilkinson III of Mebane passed away peacefully Saturday, November 29th at his residence. Al was born May 14th, 1957 in Charlotte, NC to Robert A. Wilkinson Jr and Nancy K Wilkinson, both deceased.

Al graduated from Eastern Alamance HS in 1975 and attended Lees- McRae College and NC State University. He was a true Wolfpack fan, much to his Mother's dismay.

Al will be remembered for his love for his family, especially his Mother who was his "Rock". He is survived by his two brothers, Michael Y. Wilkinson of Mebane and David T. Wilkinson and sister in law Cathy A Wilkinson of Union Ridge, as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored and his special aunt Helen Aldridge.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Thursday December 4, 2025 at Union Ridge Church.  The family will greet friends following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Union Ridge Church General Fund.
