Ronald Farrow, age 76 of Eli Whitney died at his home on April 3, 2025, after two years of declining health. Ron was born to the late Robert Lewis Farrow and Carrie Farrie of Chatham Co., June 10, 1948, whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lewis Farrow and his brother in heart, Carean Neal. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Farrow of the home; a son, Ron Christopher Farrow of Pittsboro; daughters, Jennifer Jackson of Charlotte, Tammy Thompson (Mike) of Mebane, and Dianne Dodson of Burlington; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; as well as other family members, cousins, and many friends. Ron retired from UNC Psychiatry Department after 42 years. He worked with Ralph Scott Group Holmes and was employed until death with Alamance Burlington School System as a bus driver for the last 15 years. Ron spent many years in service to the Lord through the War West Virginia outreach ministry. He faithfully attended Graham Full Gospel Tabernacle and had a great love for his pastors, Kevin Barbour and David Willoughby and their families. Ron was also a founding member of Ammi Lodge #15, Orange Co., NC. Ron has a special love for all children, especially his school bus children from B Everett Jordan Elementary, his community and people in need. He was a firm believer that we serve a God of second chances and he cultivated his relationship with the Lord by his many acts of kindness, touching many lives with his life’s testimony. A funeral service will be held to honor his life at 2pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Full Gospel Tabernacle. Burial will follow at Moore's Chapel Cemetery . The family will receive friends on Saturday April 12, 2025 from 5pm-7pm at McClure Funeral Service in Graham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund at Graham Full Gospel Tabernacle: 109 Webster Road Graham, NC 27253. The family extends their sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for your prayers, food, and kindness during this time.
