Ronald Haywood Rogers, 65, of Snow Camp, NC passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home to be with his Lord on January 2, 2022. He was born on December 12, 1956 in Greensboro, NC, grew up in Jacksonville, FL and returned to North Carolina in 1975.

He is the son of the late William Henry Rogers, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Martha Teague Rogers, his loving wife, Mary Rogers, his brother, William H. Rogers, Jr (Billy) & wife (Ruth), sisters, M. Joan Rogers, and Traci Rogers Fuquay. His daughters Rhonda R. Wood (Nick), Carla R. Watkins (Eric), 3 grandchildren Easton, Hank & Lincoln along with a stepson, Jerry Merritt wife (Crystal) and 3 step grandchildren, Elizabeth Merritt, Emily Merritt, and Brandon Tarbert, and 1 step great grandchild, Ashton. His nephews are Jordan Fuquay, Nathan Rogers and a niece, Jenna Villalobos-Obiedo (Johnathan). There are numerous other family relatives.

Ronnie graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, FL in 1975 where he was a standout in football. He went on to achieve an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Finance at Alamance Community College and was in Insurance Sales Life, Annuity, Health & Auto for over 40 years. He achieved many awards and trips over his years in insurance.

He enjoyed farming, living in the country, and camping. In his last days of his life, he enjoyed spending time with his family & friends in the Snow Camp Community.

Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at McClure Funeral Services, 1030 S. Main Street, Graham, NC.

Service at Cane Creek Friends Meeting on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
