Ronald Ragan

Ronald Ragan, 69, passed away on November 7, 2022 at his residence in Oak Island, NC. Ronnie was an avid king mackerel fisher, boater, car enthusiast, life of the party and family man. He was the husband of the late Teresa Combs Ragan and the son of the late Tommy Joe and Eleanor Thompson Ragan.  Ronnie was the owner and operator for over 40 years of East Franklin Car Care in Chapel Hill, where he recently enjoyed semi-retirement at his favorite place on earth, Oak Island.,  He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Harris (Cliff), Cassie Ragan (Drew Dixon); son, Ron Ragan; grandchildren, Jacob Harris, Joseph Harris, Ellie Ragan; brother Charlie Joe Ragan (Tracey); sister Elizabeth Fay Woody (Clinton); extended family, J.D. Coble, Brad Morris, Jennifer Ragan and his friend Blanche Patterson.  The family will receive friends on Friday November 11, 2022 from 6-8 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham.  A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Orange Chapel United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Orange Chapel United Methodist Church 1634 Orange Chapel Clover Garden Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
