Ronald "Sug" William Shoffner

Mr. Ronald William “Sug” Shoffner, 71, of Boywood Rd, Graham, NC, passed away on Saturday June 14, 2014 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. He was the husband of Rebecca “Becky” Steele Shoffner, his soul mate of 51 years and the son of the late Norman Shoffner and Rivers Stovall Shoffner who survives. He was retired as a plant manager of Shoffner Industries and Universal Forest Products. In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a son, Ron Edwin Shoffner, of Elon; brother, Mike Shoffner, and wife Dianah Jo, of Graham; sisters, Dianna Edwards and husband Lem, of Graham, and Norma Lee McDaniels, of Greensboro, and a deceased brother, Danny Shoffner and wife Diane, who survives of Burlington. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday June 16, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Hermon UMC at 4178 Mt. Hermon Rock Creek Rd. Graham, NC 27253.
