Ronnie "Ron" Cheek Haley

Mr. Ronnie “Ron” Cheek Haley, 73, of Graham, formerly of Mebane passed away on October 24, 2019 at 3:00 AM at ARMC in Burlington, NC after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Haley, both deceased. He was the grandson of maternal grandparents, Cliff and Carrie Cheek, of Mebane, NC, both deceased. Ronnie is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wade Haley, of Mebane. He is survived by his fiancé Sherry Womack, of the home; sons, Ron Jr., Phillip and Mark, all of Tampa Florida; sisters, Mary Lou Branch (Mike), of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Phyllis Rogers, of Burlington; brothers, Eddie Haley (Mary), of Mebane, Chris Galiano (Deb), of CA, and an aunt, Jackie Brown, of Mebane, NC. Ron was a proud retiree of the US Air Force serving his country for 21 years. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday October 29, 2019 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Military Honors from the Air Force. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
