Rose Marie Alvarez-Davis

Rose Marie Alvarez-Davis, 59, of Mebane passed away August 11, 2021. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. Salvador Alvarez and the late Mrs. Eliza Lampe-Alvarez. Born in Oranjestad, Aruba, Rose grew up in St. Croix, USVI. She lived in Houston, TX, and Miami, Florida prior to making North Carolina her home. “Ms. Rose” touched the lives of many families by taking care of countless children in Orange and Alamance County since 1996. Most recently, she was employed at Dusk II Dawn Daycare in Cedar Grove, NC. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Louis Davis of the home, children; Malleaka Miller, Makisha Miller, Raphael Miller, Jr., all of Mebane, NC; Christian Miller (Amber) of Alamance County; Father of St. Croix, USVI; grandchildren: JoJo Davis, Christian “Nikko” Miller, Jayd’n Klieforth, Hasan Miller, Karisma Miller; Sisters: Iris Lloyd (Tony) of Miami Springs, FL; Mercedes Alvarez of Miramar, FL; Barbara Smith (Derek) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; and Lucia Samuels of Houston, TX; Nieces: Vanessa Garcia Foster, Annemeke Samuels, Zoe Samuels; Nephews: Junior Garcia, Brian Smith, Justin Smith, Michael Samuels, Anthony Lloyd, and Nicholas Lloyd, as well as many other beloved family and friends. A service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Shannon Long.
