Rose Ann Ward

ALTAMAHAW, NC - Rose Ann Ward, 72, passed away on January 19, 2017 at Alamance Health Care in Burlington. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Nancy Westbrooks Ward. She was a past member of the Blind Bowling League and worked at AMI. Survivors include her husband; Odis Ward, son; Eugene Ward, loving sisters in law, Jeanetta Hamby and Mamie Hodge, brother in law; Carlton Ward, loving niece, Perdita Couch and many other nieces and nephews. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters; Katherine Hutchins, Mary Compton, Margaret Ward and her brother James Ward Sr. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 22, 2017 from 3-5 at McClure Funeral and cremation Service in Graham. At other times the family will be at the home of her son Eugene Ward 414 Bland Blvd. Burlington, NC 27217. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday January 23, 2017 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham with Rev. Olin Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Adar Baptist Church Cemetery.
