Burlington- Mr. Roy Evans, 76, passed away on March 7, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Burlington. He was the son of late Jessie and Lottie Daye Evans and the husband of Pauline Blackwell Evans for 64 years. Friends and family are encouraged to visit Pauline at White Oak Manor at 323 Baldwin Rd. Burlington, NC. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Blackwell Evans, daughters; Robin “Punkin” Rakfeldt (Bruce) of Haw River, Rosemary “Tee” Evans (Barry Parsons) of Burlington, son; Roger “Rog” Evans of New York, brothers; Larry Evans, Henry “Jean” Evans, sisters; Annabell Harvey, Fanny “Bat” McCullomb, Adell “Winnie” Crawford (Roy Lee), Linda “Lean” Wiley (Bobby), Deloris “Slue” Evans, grandchildren; Veronica “Ronny” Troxler (William), Roslynn “Rozy” Dwyer (Shawn), Johnathan Evans-Parsons, great granddaughter; Rosabeth “Rosy” Troxler and one great grandson to be in April Sterling Patrick Dwyer, sisters in-law Odell Evans and Irene Evans. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by sons; Ricky Evans and Ronnie Evans, brothers; Tommy “Buck” Evans, George “Bo” Evans, Jessie “June” Evans, sister; Katie “Punie” Poole, granddaughter Rekisha Evans, brothers in-law; William Harvey, Willis McCullomb, Bobby Poole, sisters in-law: Jean Evans and Rosia Evans. Public viewing will be on Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 9am-5pm at McClure Funeral Service in Graham. The family will receive friends from 10am-11am on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at McClure funeral Service in Graham with a funeral service to follow at 11am in the McClure Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Northlawn Cemetery in Burlington.
