Roy Glenn Parks died Sunday January 31, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born and raised in California then moved to Arkansas when he had two daughters. He then moved to North Carolina when he became a truck driver until he was injured in a car accident in March of 2010. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Lamar, Arkansas Fire Department where he served as an EMT and firefighter. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Keith Parks Jr. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Romerro; his two daughters, Crystal Fox and husband Kelly, of Arkansas and Nettie Cat Parks and husband Chewy, of Texas; grandchildren, Christian, Angle, and Caroline, all of Texas; step children, Nicholas, Noah, and Todiah; parents, Linda and Bryan Parks, of Graham; two brothers, his twin, Troy Lynn Parks and wife Vicki, of Arizona and Robert David Parks, of Graham; nephews, Kory, Jaden, and Carey; nieces, Miriah, Amber, Samantha, and Scarlett. A remembrance of Roy’s life will be held from 2 until 4 PM on Saturday February 6, 2016 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Burlington.
