Ruby Nunnery Sackett

Ruby Nunnery Sackett, 81, of Graham, Passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025. She was a native of Sumter, SC, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mebane. She is the wife of the late George Dustin Sackett and the daughter of the late George W. & Dollie McLeod Nunnery. She loved riding her side by side, Doing yardwork around the house, youth missions and especially spending time with her granddaughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Smothers (Clare) of Graham; son, Randy Sackett (Jediah) of Graham; granddaughter, Kamryn Smothers of Graham; sister, Mary Turner of Sumter, SC

A graveside service to honor her life will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2025 at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Rembert SC by Pastor Sammy Ballard.  Mrs. Sackett is being taken to the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home, 515 Miller Road, Sumter, SC 29150. McClure Funeral Home in Graham is assisting the family with local arrangements.
