Ruth Apple Allen

Ruth Apple Allen, 88, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday June 2, 2024 at ARMC.   She was the daughter of the late Hester and Cordie Apple. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and loved her church family.  Survivors include her son, Tim Allen of Graham; daughter, Pam Allen Abner of Burlington; grandchildren, Amy Miles, Jamie Hernandez, Ray Barbour, Jennifer Allen, Kerstie Rodriguez, Jonathan Allen, Michelle Woods and Lauren Allen; 16 great grandchildren, three special nieces, Lisa, Linda and Debbie; brothers, Bud Apple and Jack Apple and a host of extended family and friends.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Vance Allen, Jr.; son, Jeffrey Allen; sisters, Iris Barnellio and Margaret Herndon.  A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday June 8, 2024 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12pm -1pm on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.  At other times they will be at her residence.
