Sabra Barbour Wayland

Sabra Barbour Wayland, 53, of Elon died at her home on Friday, December 11, 2015. She was born in Whichita Falls, TX, retired from the US Post Office, and of the Baptist faith and a graduate of Southern High School. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol McAllister Barbour. She is survived by her husband, Michael O’Neal Wayland of the home; children, Brandon Randy Lloyd of Mebane, Rodney Barbour Lloyd of Mebane and Ashleigh O’Neal Wayland of Elon; sister, Sabrena Bondari of Tampa, FL; father, M.Sgt.(Ret)C.W. Barbour of Graham; grandchildren, Melanie Nichole Lloyd, Lawson Isaiah Lloyd, Kolten Michael Lloyd, Bowen Tate Lloyd and Talon M. Lloyd. A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Herbert Brown. Burial will follow in Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance/Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. It was a Sabra’s wish that no floral arrangements be sent but that people attending the service would bring a single white rose to be placed in a vase at the funeral home in her memory.
