Sammy Lambert

Sammy Lambert, a cherished soul known for his adventurous spirit and handy skills, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024, in Burlington, NC. He was born on December 8, 1947, in Darlington, SC,  to the late James and Thelma Lambert. Sammy's zest for life and love for his family were the hallmarks of his 76 years.  Sammy's life was marked by his passion for stock car racing, a hobby that reflected his love for speed and excitement. He carried the same enthusiasm into all aspects of his life, inspiring everyone who knew him.  He is survived by his sons, Bobby Lambert and his wife Patricia, Todd Lambert and his wife Brandy; his brother, Ronald Lambert; and his sister, Cheesie Gwynn. Sammy was a proud grandfather to Kade Lambert, Ella Rane Lambert, and Trey Linder, who will miss their grandfather's boundless energy and the wisdom he shared.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Johnson and a grandson, Dalton Linder.  The family will receive friends on Saturday August 10, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at McClure Funeral Service in Graham.  In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Victory Junction at https://victoryjunction.org/ or to a charity of your choice.
