Samuel "Sam" Franklin Thompson

GRAHAM - Samuel Franklin Thompson, 46, of Graham passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his residence. Sam was born in Alamance County, NC. He was retired from the U.S. Army and he was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Abigail Ann Thompson and Samuel Weston Thompson both of Orange Park, Fla. His parents, Jerry Franklin Thompson and Dolores "Dee" Thompson and a sister, Laura Ann Holt (Charlie) of Snow Camp, NC. He was preceded in death by: Paternal Grandparents, Charlie F. and Dorothy D. Thompson; Maternal Grandparents, Ben G. and Grace N. Shelley. A memorial service will be held today, August 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Tommy Bright.
