Samuel Armstrong Wilson, Sr., 81, of Mebane died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence. He was a native of Alamance County, retired Dairy Farmer and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Alexander “Dan” & Jessie Crutchfield Wilson; daughter, Deborah Wilson Holland; brothers, Leon Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Hiram Wilson; sister, Doris Aulbert.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Wilson of the home, sons, Samuel Wilson, Jr. of Mebane and Daniel Wilson (Anita) of Mebane; step-daughter, Shannon Davis (Kevin); step-son, Lennie Wilson, Jr.; sister, Mary Alice Forrest of Mebane.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday at Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Dr. Joshua Goocey. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 – 4:00 before the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.mcclurefuneralservice.net
