Sandra Kay Duckworth

BURLINGTON - Sandra Kay Moon Duckworth, 67, of Burlington died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at her residence. She was a native of Alamance County, retired from the textile industry and of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Paul Vestal and Mildred Jordan Moon.She is survived by her husband, Delbert Robert Duckworth; son, James Robert "J.R." Duckworth; stepdaughter, Wendy Simpson (Bobby); sister, Linda Ezell; brothers, Mel Dellinger (Cheryl), Roger Dale "Rocky" Dellinger (Robin), David Paul Moon and William Allen Moon; three grandchildren.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Baptist Church by the Rev. Uston McKenzie. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church cemetery. The friends will receive friends at the church from 10 – 11 a.m. before the service.
