Sandra Kay Horton

Miss Sandra Kay Horton, 72, of Snow Camp, NC, died January 9th at Alamance Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James and Gladys Horton. Survivors include one sister Hazel Stewart, brother in-law Robert, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and hephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Lee Horton, Delbert Horton, Junior Horton. She retired from the US Departent Of Defense in Washington, DC in 2003 and moved to Snow Camp to live close to her Sister. She was loved by all who she came in contact with and was a caring loving thoughtul woman. She loved her cats they were her babies: Bo, Jasmine, Lipstick, Beardsley,Sunshine & Halfstache. She helped so many people in her lifetime and she will be missed by many, our lives will not be the same without her. Family and friends may visit Sandy at the McClure Funeral Home, in Graham on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by services beginning at 2:00 pm. Sandy will then travel to her permenanet resting place in Canonsburg, PA on Saturday, January 17, 2015 were she will be buried beside her parents.
