Shannon Moore Champion

Mrs. Shannon Moore Champion of Haw River, North Carolina, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2022. Shannon was a native of Alamance County.

Mrs. Champion was preceded in death by her father, Michael Kenneth Moore, and her maternal Aunt Margaret “Maggie” Mills Wilson.

Shannon is survived by her husband, Rodney Lee Champion, her mother, Deborah Collins Thompson, her stepfather, Philip Lane Thompson, her grandmother, Carolyn Dodson Mills, and her aunts, Crystal Jordan (Jeff), Tina Ballentine (Bill), and Terry Williams (Tim), her uncles, Ted Johnson (Lisa), Jim Moore (Yvonne), and her in-laws, Rob and Elaine Champion, and her stepmother, Helen Moore.

A graveside service will be held to celebrate the life of Shannon Moore Champion on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery, beginning at 2:00 PM. The family would like all friends and family who are able to attend.

The family will receive visitors at the residence of Shannon’s mother and stepfather following the service.
