Sharon Louise Curry

Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Sharon Louise Curry’s love of life did not end with her death.  After a courageous battle with cancer, Sharon Louise Curry, 73, of Graham, was ushered into Heaven on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.  The loved one’s that continuously surrounded Sharon during her final days on earth will continue to honor her legacy.

Sharon’s pride and happiness stemmed from the company of her family.  Sharon had an uncanny ability to find happiness by spending time with her loved ones.  Sharon enjoyed the beauty and feeling of spending time at the beach, as she did with her mother growing up.

Sharon is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Mercer and brother, Ralph James Moon.

She is survived by her son Daniel Weldon, son, Rodney Hamilton and wife, Tonya; grandson, Ryan Hamilton and wife, Kaylee; granddaughter, Alyssa Hamilton Meador and husband, Dusty; great granddaughter, Elowyn Hamilton, great grandson, Brayden Hamilton, father, Ralph Austin Moon; brother, Doug Moon and wife Debi; sister in-law, Grace Moon and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends form 4pm-6pm on Friday October 6, 2023 at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to UNC Cancer Hospital at https://www.med.unc.edu/medicine/oncology/about/
