Sheryl Gene Clapp

Miss  Sheryl Gene Clapp, 50, of Snow Camp N.C., went home to be with her  Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She is the beloved daughter of Stephen E. Clapp and Linda C. Clapp of the home, who survive. She is the beloved sister of Shannon Spaugh and husband Jimmy Spaugh of Lexington,  Becky Conklin and husband Andy Conklin of Caswell County,  and Stephanie Pierce of Hillsborough.  She has many nieces and nephews that love and adore her,  JB Conklin, Justin Conklin, and Brent Conklin of Caswell County,  Lee Pilgrim (Lydia) of McCleansville,  Kristina Pilgrim (Josh )of Lexington,  Samantha Hopson, Justin Spaugh, and Kristyn Spaugh of Winston Salem. She is survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Lois Campbell,   her paternal grandparents, Hoyle and Beatrice Clapp, her nephew Brooks Clemments, her niece Ashley Doby, and her very special friend Jimmy Davis .

Sheryl was a member of Belmont Baptist Church where her cheerful smile touched many lives.  Sheryl was very thoughtful, polite, kind and displayed great courage and strength throughout life.

She enjoyed vacations with her family, singing , listening to music on the front porch swing, and luncheons with her mother and sisters . Sheryl was a true joy to everyone who knew her. Her  laughter, hugs, and kisses, will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, from 6pm-8pm at McClure Funeral Service in Graham and at other times at the home.  The memorial service will be Saturday, December 8 , at McClure Funeral Service Chapel in Graham conducted by Rev.
