Shirley Lorraine Holt

BURLINGTON - Shirley Hughes Holt, born June 7, 1922 to Robert David Hughes and Laura Capes Hughes, died May 6, 2014. She leaves to treasure her memory three daughters, Rebecca Moss Gilliam of Burlington and Janice Moss Moore (Terrell) and Kay Moss Kimball (Wade), both of Graham; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; 13 siblings; one son-in-law; and one grandson.Mrs. Holt was born in Alamance County. She was a retired textile worker and she was of the Baptist faith.There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Holt on Friday, May 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Alamance Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev.
