Shirley Ann (Murray) Chatman

Mrs. Shirley Murray Chatman, 84 of Graham, NC passed away on December 11, 2020 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mozzell Hinsley Murray. Shirley was retired from Anedeen Textiles and was a proud member of Nall Memorial Baptist Church in Graham. Over the years she and her husband John had been lucky enough to travel the country, from trips to our west, the Grand Canyon and their favorite place to travel, the mountains of North Carolina. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, John Charles Chatman, her loving daughters, Teresa, Dawn and Debbie; her brother, Luther Murray Jr. and her loving grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Murray and a brother, Bill Murray. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Wade Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Haw River Cemetery.
