Shirley Nan (Sims) Cross

Shirley Nan Sims Cross, 77, of Haw River passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Shirley was born in Waynesburg, KY to Willard Hunter and Artie Necie Melvina Jane Cross both deceased. She was retired from GKN.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Donel Wesley Cross. Sons, Darin W. Cross and wife  Christie, and Daniel W. Cross and wife Shannon. Granddaughters, Samantha Cross and Laura Cross.

In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Donel Wesley Cross, Jr.,   Nine brothers and sisters.

A service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Mebane Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Rev. Scott London.

The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
