For Sonya, family always came first and was above all else. She made it her mission, as a mom and wife, to support, guide, protect and love her family completely. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. To have Sonya in your life was to have someone who was always there for you. No matter how much time and distance there may be, you could always count on Sonya for anything that you needed. She was loyal, determined, honest and always willing to offer support to those in need. Her family and friends will cherish memories of her cheering for her children at their sporting events, supporting the NC State Wolfpack, seeing Bon Jovi in concert, and spending time with her family.
