Steve Harris Walker

Elon Steve Harris Walker, 66 of Elon died at his residence. A native of Rockingham County, he was employed as a courier for Lab Corp and was a US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Taylor and Mary Viola Thomas Walker; brother, Billy Walker and sister, Linda Walker. He is survived by his children, John Walker of Mebane, Chris Walker of New Bern and Ashleigh Walker Gore of Leland; brother, Ronnie Walker of Snow Camp; sister, Judy Walker of Georgia; grandchildren, Nicholas Walker, Justin Walker, Zachary Walker, Noah Walker, Tyllin Walker and Breely Carter. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Paula Gravitt Bryant.
