Sue Riggsbee

BURLINGTON, N.C. - Sue Riggsbee, 66, passed away Nov. 5, 2013, at her residence.She was the wife of Malcolm Riggsbee, who survives, and the daughter of Earl and Lorene Cotton Cornet, both deceased.In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include her sons, Mark Overbay, David Overbay and Earl Overbay; daughters, Debbie Brabson and Angie Overbay; stepson, Jonathan Riggsbee; beloved mother-in-law, Haseltine Riggsbee; brothers, Joe Howard and Billy Howard; grandchildren, Michael Hansel, Charlie Hansel, Cody Overbay, Joseph Overbay, Misty Overbay, Brittany Overbay and Daniel Faulk; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Howard. Mrs. Riggsbee was an avid flower lover and always enjoyed working in her yard. She also enjoyed cooking and co-hosting the annual pig picking enjoyed by so many family and friends. "Mama" will be missed by all who knew and loved her.A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the residence.
