Susan Jane (Willis) Kirby

Susan Jane Willis Kirby, 86, of Mebane passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her residence. Susan was born in Caswell County to John Baptist and Maude Briggs Willis both deceased. Susan retired from Annadean  Hosiery in Burlington. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Mebane.

Susan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to: husband, Coy Vernon Kirby. Children, daughter, Donna Kirby Flack and son, John V. Kirby (Lisa), Grandchildren, Daniel Flack (Allison), Jacob Flack, J.T. Kirby, and Lauren Kirby. Great Grandson, Carter Flack.

Other than her parents Susan is also preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby W. Murray, Gertrude W. Hightower, Dorothy Willis, Harold Willis, Jessie Willis, Clyde Willis, John D. Willis, Cleo Willis, and Harvey Willis.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Mebane. Officiating will be Pastor Sammy Ballard. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service at the church.
