Ted David Watts

Ted David Watts, 86, of Mebane died Sunday, February 9, 2020. He was a native of Orange County, retired from AO Smith. He loved the beach, fishing, family and friends and was an avid golfer in his younger years and was a US Army Veteran.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Byrd Watts; parents, Captain John & Ruth Wright Watts; brother, John Watts.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia “Cindi” W. Rimmer; granddaughter, Hannah White and sister, Verta W. Davis; great grandson, Jeremy Thompson.

A service to celebrate his life will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Burial with military honors will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00.
