Teddy Dean Coleman

Teddy Dean Coleman, 74, of Burlington passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Teddy was born in Alamance County to Maynard and Nannie Lou Ector Coleman both deceased. Ted worked in maintenance for many years and he served his country in the US Army.

Teddy is survived by his: children, Jamie Starnes (Jay), Jeremy Coleman. Grandchildren, Bailee Starnes, Dustin Starnes, Alyssa Starnes, Joshua Coleman, Emma Coleman, and James “Jac” Coleman. Teddy’s siblings, Katherine Phillips, Bill Coleman and his wife Shelby, and Leroy Coleman. Former wife, Brenda Coleman and former daughter in law, Heather Coleman.

In addition to his parents Teddy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Vick Coleman and Wayne Coleman.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Rev. Sammy Ballard. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family Will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Following the service the family will receive friends at the home of Jamie and Jay Starnes, 701 Fairway Dr., Mebane, NC 27302.
