Thelma Dean Cheek

Mrs. Thelma Dean Cheek, 96, of Mebane, NC, passed away on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Peak Recourses of Alamance in Graham. A native of Orange County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lennie and Decie Wright Dean. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church and she was retired from Western Electric with 27 ½ years of service. Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Terrell, of Durham and Wendy Keck (Tim Robinson), of High Point; sister, Ruth Thompson, of Burlington; 3 grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernice Hall Cheek; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsborough with the Pastor David Fox officiating..
