Thelma "Nanny" Rice Farrington

Thelma “Nanny” Rice Farrington, 82, of Burlington died Friday, February 22, 2018. She was a native of Caswell County, retired daycare sitter and a member of Community Baptist Church in Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Roy Farrington; parents, Frederick James & Ossie Massey Rice; 11 brothers and sisters and 2 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Robert and Jennifer Farrington of Mebane; daughters, Denise and Carl Edwards of Graham and Carla Farrington of Graham; grandchildren, Joseph Woods, Travis Porter, Chace Farrington, Caden Farrington, Ashley Gwynn, Tony Gwynn, Jr. (TJ) and Christopher Farrington; 16 Great Grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

A service to celebrate her life will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Randy Kidd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 – 1:00 Thursday before the service. There will be a hosting of friends and family following the service at the home of Robert & Jennifer Farrington, 401 Collington Drive in Mebane.
