Thelma Raye (Vicks) Norris

Thelma Raye Norris, 77, of Burlington passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her residence. Thelma was born in Alamance County to Sam Vicks and Eleanor Covington Wagoner both deceased. She was the wife of Gordon Ray Norris also deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverdale Baptist Church.

Thelma is survived by her: daughters, Tammy Gilstrap (Layne), Graham, Connie Burgess (Ronnie), Graham, Melissa Gregory (Aaron), Reidsville, son, Bryan Norris of the home.

Grandchildren, Michael, Dustin, Bradley, Kristin, Ashley, Jimmy, and Alexis. Great Grandchildren, Emma, Eli, and Owen. Sister, Eleanor Johnson (Pete), Graham, and her fur baby Max.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. Johnathan Graves. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home Monday prior to the service.Other times they will be at the residence.
