Theodore P. Amick Jr.

Theodore P. Amick Jr., known to his close friends as "Bear", passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 76. He was born on March 4, 1949, in Alamance County, North Carolina, to Theodore P. Amick Sr. and Sarah Keck Amick. After completing his education, he answered the call to service his country by joining the United States Air Force. His eight years in the military were marked by honor and commitment, traits that would define every aspect of his life. Following his service in the Air Force, Theodore started his career with GTE Telephone Company where he reited after 27 years. Outside of his professional endeavors, Theodore was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband, a supportive father, and an adoring papa who will be greatly missed. 

He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Theodore is survived by his wife, Linda Amick; his son, Anthony Amick (Christi); and his grandchildren, Aiden and Kyleigh Amick. 

A graveside service will be held to honor his life on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, beginning at 2:30pm at Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 1:00pm-2:00pm prior to the graveside service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Theodore's name to: The Veteran's Association of America.
