Thomas Woodie Blackwood

Thomas Woodie Blackwood, 79, passed away on January 9, 2024 in New Bern, NC.  A native of Haw River was the son of the late Clarence and Alene Blackwood.  He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam.  Survivors include his stepsons, Brian Keith Jobe (Jaynell) and Robert Allen Jobe (Holly); brother, Danny Blackwood (Linda); 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with one on the way.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Linda Blackwood.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday January 18th at 2pm at the Haw River Cemetery.
