Mr. Thomas Carson “Tommy” Terrell 49, of Mebane, NC passed away on June 8, 2023 at his residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, he is the son of the late Donald M. Terrell Sr. and his surviving mother, Phyllis Leach Terrell. Tommy was  a graduate of the NC School of Science and Math in Durham in 1992 and was a proud graduate of NC State University in 1998 receiving his degree in Sports Management. While at NC State, Tommy was the manager for the Men’s Basketball Team of which he was so very proud. Tommy was a huge sports enthusiast, not only being an NC State fan but also an avid Yankees fan, Celtics fan, and a fan of the Washington Red Skins. Tommy was an avid Lego collector and builder and he always had a love for Sci-Fi especially when it came to Star Wars. Tommy had spent time in Florida prior to coming back home where he enjoyed playing kickball and going to trivia competitions with his buddies. Tommy will be remembered for being a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Danielle T. Wagner and wife Anna; his brother, Donny Terrell Jr. and wife Allison; his loving nephews, Reid Terrell and Ethan Wagner; and his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday June 12, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Pastor David McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Living Free Ministries by visiting www.livingfreeministries.net The family ask that the dress be casual. Please wear your favorite team shirt (as long as it’s red) to show the love of sports that Tommy had or any Marvel or Star Wars shirts are welcomed. The service for Tommy will be livestreamed on Monday.
