Thomas "Ted" Edgar Davis

Thomas Edgar “Ted” Davis, of Chapel Hill died Saturday, December 8, 2018 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill following a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was a native of Alamance County, a heavy equipment operator and a member of Clover Garden United Methodist Church.

He is survived by son; Luke Davis of the home; step children, Shelby and Gus Queen of the home; fiancé, Shannon Queen of the home; parents, Elmer and Pam Davis of Mebane; grandparents, Tommy and Frances Cole of Chapel Hill; Aunt, Wendy Allison of Hurdle Mills; Cousins, Sydney and Joshua Allison of Hurdle Mills; Nephew, Tyler Pope of Mebane; mother in law, Gail Bass of Maggie Valley and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 PM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Sammy Ballard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 before the service. Online condolences may be made to www.mcclurefuneralservice.net
