Thomas Coy Garner, Jr.

Thomas Coy Garner, Jr., 80, of Burlington passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at his residence. Thomas was born in Alamance County to Thomas Coy Garner, Sr. and Mozelle Glosson Garner, both deceased. Thomas was retired from Burlington Industries, and he attended Graham Church of God.

Thomas is survived by her children, James Kendall Garner and his wife Wendy, Tammy Garner Terry, Candice Harrod and her husband John, Rebecca Graie Garner and her significate other Patrick Bray.  Grandchildren, Kendall Phillippie, Kenneth Phillippie, Tyler McDaniel, Kathryn Harrod, Caroline Bray, Garrett Bray. Brother, Ricky Garner. In addition to his parents Thomas is also preceded in death by his first wife Angela Thomas and his second wife, Rebecca Mitchell Gerner.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Travis Bodine and Rev. James Kendall Garner.. The committal service will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
